The "Chunk Style" Shards are thicker then our main shards of 1/8" thick, and they come in 2 pound bags for $17.00. 

This particular shard ranges in thickness from just under 1/4" thick to just over 1/4" thick. They are beautiful handmade pottery pieces broken up, ALL FLAT, some have the beautiful glazes on both sides, but are still very easy to use for mosaics. The colors are vibrant, some have the pearlized glazes, some are textured just as the picture shows what is in the 2 pound bags. Each bag contains approx. 48 to 53 pieces, sizes range from 1" to 3" plus, as shown, per bag. Coverage is well over a square foot. You can cut them with a tile nipper, the 2 wheeled nippers also to make even more pieces. They also go very nicely with thicker tiles such as our 2" square Prism® glass accent tiles that are 5/16"  thick and wonderful for use with ceramic tiles or stone.
